Zoo Vyškov
Vyškov Zoo (official name of ZOO PARK Vyškov) was established in 1965. It specializes mainly in domestic and farm animals from around the world (more than 1200 animals in more than 120 species and breeds). The main goal of Zoo Vyškov is to show children that cows are not purple or that eggs are not produced in the supermarket, which are facts that remain secret to many today's children .... :-)
In Zoopark Vyškov there is a contact yard of our grandmother, where (not only) children can feed or pet kids, lambs and other animals. There is also a replica of the Haná farm from the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries in the Zoopark complex, which houses expositions of traditional rural life and interactive expositions of the environmental education centre. DinoPark Vyškov is part of the Zoo.
